Definition: The diaper is the absorbent part and the cover is the waterproof part that goes over the diaper.

This kit is for those who want to give cloth diapering a try.  You might decide that buying 2, 3 or 4 of these kits might make sense to build your stash. Countries of origin found here.

This kit includes:

  • 6 Workhorse Natural in size Small snap closure, 9 -14 pounds
  • 2 Thirsties Duo Wraps size one, 6-18 pounds
  • 1 pack of 12 Cloth-eez Birdseye Wipes in natural unbleached

Unbleached natural cotton needs several initial wash cycles to wash off those natural cotton oils before first use, but that is a one-time thing.

Sofia ★★★★★

I was skeptical about switching to cloth, but the kit made it easy to figure out the diaper-plus-cover system without a big upfront spend. The absorbent insert snaps in flat and dries way faster than I expected overnight.

The waterproof cover actually holds up overnight, which I didn't expect from a small starter kit. Snapping the absorbent insert in and out is quick, even with a squirmy baby. Wish I'd switched from disposables sooner.

George D. ★★★★★

I was skeptical about the whole diaper-and-cover setup, but after two weeks the absorbent insert plus waterproof cover combo has held up through every overnight leak test. The small size fits my 12-pounder with room to spare, and washing is way less gross than I feared.
